In depth

Verdict

Adams Park didn't win in four starts last season but was always likely to do better when tackling this sort of trip. VOLEVO LUI (NAP) came good on his third start with an impressive victory over 1m2f at Chelmsford in January, however, where he looked certain to be suited by today's longer trip. He has plenty of scope and can get the better of Baghdad, a son of Frankel who improved throughout his first campaign culminating in a victory on his handicap debut at Chelmsford. Sotomayor is the only distance winner having scored at Lingfield in February though he failed to cope with a 5lb rise here last month. We Know and Quantatmental are making their handicap debuts over this more suitable trip.
