    Verdict

FORTY PROOF was an impressive winner at Bath when last seen and a similar effort should be enough to overcome a mark rise. William Knight's runner has an overall progressive profile and got his first handicap win with his three-and-a-half length score on that last run so with more likely he can follow up. Johnny Hancocks is running well and off the same mark as his close thing behind an in form runner his chance is clear. Style And Panache is down 1lb in the weights for his good run in defeat when last out and he should handle this surface but Forty Proof is looking progressive and can improve again.
