      Verdict

      NOVA CHAMP is easily the best of those with racecourse experience. He blew another chance at Kempton last week but, given neither Belle Peinture nor Female Strategy showed much on their respective debuts, Stuart Williams' charge may finally get his head in front. One of the newcomers could prove a bigger threat and any strong support in the betting for either Golden Steps or Libra Romana may prove significant.
