Verdict

In a maiden auction that shouldn't take a great deal of winning Sylvester Kirk's FIRST IN THE QUEUE sets a useful enough standard for the other to aim at and we'll take our chance with the colt and although Madam Roulin doesn't look anything special she could feature here along with newcomer Rainbow Six. This slight step up in trip should aid the selection who is looking to get off the mark at the fifth time of asking. He was keeping on when grabbing a place last time and this looks his easiest assignment to date. Madame Roulin didn't build on an encouraging debut last time but given the soft conditions may have been against her during that start we give Michael Bell's filly the benefit of the doubt. Rainbow Six will want further in time but is related to winners and won't need to be a world beater to go well here while Ice Diva improved from her first to second run and could show more again. It's not the best maiden we'll ever see and given that the standard setting First In The Queue should be too good.
