In depth

Verdict

KING GEORGE RIVER prevailed by only a head at Lingfield last time when beating a previous winner but it's still the strongest form on offer. Alan Bailey's charge makes more appeal than Pairumani Prince given the latter steps up a grade off a higher mark in search of his fourth straight win. Black Dave has come up short in this company before and Sennockian Star is having his first race since October but Al Raqeeb has scope for improvement and could prove a threat on only his third start.
