In depth

Verdict

October's Newbury third Thatchereen makes her all-weather debut after a break but Flying Power has plenty of experience on Tapeta, though the handicapper appears to have him just where he wants him at present. The well-bred SARPECH has been sent off favourite in his last three starts but remains winless. However, he's probably worth one more chance back on the surface on which he was just beaten in April. Hussar Ballad is fairly consistent while Soul Searcher has already won at Kempton and Beverley and didn't give her true running last time at Pontefract.
