Verdict

Muir Lodge never threatened the winner when runner-up at Pontefract last time but finished a length ahead of Chorlton Manor. He should confirm running and be thereabouts but preference goes to CLUMBER STREET. The latter made a promising debut at Bath last month and will have benefited for the experience. Exceed Areeda looks capable of better dropping back in trip and makes more appeal than Dynamo Walt, who was still beaten a long way despite finishing second over track and trip on his latest start.
