    Verdict

Russian George hasn't raced since April last year but is good enough if fully primed for his reappearance. Broughtons Bandit has gone close the last twice and should be in the mix once again but this is tougher than the contest Jezza won over 1m6f here three weeks ago. Capellanus won a jumpers bumper at this track in January but was was well beaten back on the Flat last time and a chance is taken on BRUNSTON. He's slipped down the weights of late and this longer trip should be no problem given Anthony Middleton's charge has won a couple of times over hurdles in the past.
