Verdict

INTERCHOICE STAR won't need to be anything out of the ordinary to land this on his handicap bow and is put forwards ahead of Straight Face and Red Current amongst others, The market will probably tell us pretty early on if we've done the right thing in siding with Interchoice Star on his debut for Reg Hollinshead. He didn't show a great deal for his previous connections but is handicapped accordingly and his wily trainer is always worth noting at this track. Tadlil should make his presence felt, Straight Face has to be on the short-list with Gay Kelleway's string going well but he has only won at Kempton so far in his career. Red Current is another to consider in the finale as he's been running well since the turn of the year but he hasn't run over this trip since his first two starts as a juvenile which has to be a huge concern so we'll take a chance with Interchoice Star.
