Verdict

Solar Deity is usually in the mix but is proving hard to win with nowadays and a 5lb claimer takes over the reins for this. The less-exposed TRYSTER is preferred given he was having his first start since July when scoring in this grade at Chelmsford last month - there should be plenty more to come from the Godolphin gelding. Spes Nostra has plenty to find with the selection on latest running while Pivotman is upped in class having won a couple of amateur races recently. Don't Call Me and Steventon Star are capable on their day but neither have won over further than a mile before.
