Verdict

A poor turnout, but competitive nonetheless. Forever Loved, the winner of a moderate maiden at Southwell, looks plenty high enough in the handicap for what she has achieved, and will be hard pressed to confirm the form with Romil Star, who will be sharper for his last outing, after a five month break. Alberich had a soft lead last time and has more to do under a penalty over this shorter trip, so the TEAMtalk vote goes to Glory Quest, who will be well suited to the likely strong pace set by Alberich. Gay Kellaway, who had a winner here at the weekend, has her string in good form at present and this Quest For Fame gelding is taken to provide the Newmarket trainer with another winner.
