Verdict

STEEL TRAIN is a decent handicapper on his day and should be sharper for a recent return from an absence. David O'Meara's charge is weighted to beat both Los Camachos and Unforgiving Minute on these terms as he drops in class and he gets the vote. The latter pair filled the places in a claimer at Lingfield last month with David Evans' charge coming out just the best and Misty Birnam beaten only a length in fifth despite the unfavourable terms. Zapper Cass won a claiming race over 6f at Windsor in October though meets higher rated opposition in this.
