Verdict

Kindlelight Debut can make the most of the weight that she receives to account for Kamanda Laugh, with Border Music best of the others. Kindlelight Debut runs in this rather than the Lincoln Trial earlier, and it appears that Nick Littmoden has made the right decision. The six-year-old is much more adept over this trip, having proved herself four times over the course-and distance in the past. Successful in four of her last six starts, the handicapper is starting to get a grip now, so the move to conditions company in which she can make the most of her allowances, should ensure that she maintains her form. Kamanda Laugh is a tough handicapper but has not been seen since scoring at Newmarket in September. He missed out on a crack at the Cambridgeshire but should be noted for a decent prize when the Turf season begins. Border Music falls into a similar category, but he did show improved form on the all-weather when last seen so may go close despite his absence. Mistral Sky looks up against it, and Qadar is definitely second-best of the Littmoden duo, with Kindlelight Debut very much the one to be on.
