There are doubts about every runner in the field and nothing can really be forwarded as a confident selection to give it's running. Therefore, a chance is taken with the unexposed Only For Sue as the main selection; although a saver on Ambersong is also recommended. The locally trained Fight The Feeling and Cool Bathwick are also respected as the best of the rest, but have never been noted for consistency and their respective claims appear best limited to each way support at a push. Therefore, Only For Sue and Ambersong look to be the two to concentrate on for now. The fact that Ian Mongan has opted to keep faith with the former is clue enough as to how much she is respected at this level and it can be considered significant that the champion all weather jockey has kept faith with him today. The partnership teamed up to good effect over course and distance three weeks ago and a repeat effort will be good enough to see them home here. Ambersong is respected as the main danger and will be hard to keep out of the frame if he runs anywhere near his latest form. However, as he tends to find one too good, Only For Sue is included in our betting equation in the hope that all bases are covered in the event of any mishaps from the main selection.
