In depth

Verdict

Division Two of the handicap is just as tight as the first but under a lighter weight than when last getting in front we'll just side with ACTIVE ASSET with Savento considered after recent improved form while Altos Reales seems to save his best for Southwell. Now three pounds lighter than when easily scoring in an apprentice handicap on his last start of 2008 the pick did show a spark of form over course and distance last time so if building on that he should go well under a top pilot. Sovento has shown much improvement in his last three runs and was only just headed late on when racing over distance at Kempton last time. He races off the same mark here and if the progress continues he should be going very close. Major Promise should be capable of better than he's shown so far and a further weight reprieve should help and Sunny Spells knows how to win but is a little high in the weights. The best thing we can say about this race is that it is competitive and Active Asset should be weighted for a big run.
