      Verdict

      Birdy Boy left his previous form behind to win at Southwell last week but has something to prove back on this surface under a penalty. FLYING TEMPO makes more appeal as he won over a mile here in January and stayed 1m2f well enough when behind good yardstick Gabrial The Duke at Lingfield last time. Shearian has a bit to find with the selection on earlier running and has since won at Kempton where he beat Whiskey N Stout and Ceekay's Girl. He can figure again but Warrant Officer has yet to show any improvement for his slide down the weights.
