      Verdict

      MATRAASH had been making hay in plating races before coming unstuck when dropped back to the extended mile trip here last time. He can pick up the winning thread over this extra furlong with only Misleading Promise looking a serious threat. The latter should improve for a recent comeback run at Southwell and was in fine form on the all-weather at this time last year. The remaining trio have it all to do on today's terms with Lucy Bee probably the best of them at the weights.
