In depth

Verdict

The (so far) frustrating ADVERTISEMENT has little to beat and surely must break his duck. Jeremy Noseda has his horses in good form and this Mr Greeley colt should relish the return to an artificial surface after a lacklustre run at Chepstow last time out. The form of that race has been franked anyway and he can break his maiden tag today. Xeralda is a nicely-bred filly and needs a market check on debut, whilst Shamarlane is related to stayers but she showed more zest over the minimum trip last time out. Sonia Girl showed a bit of promise here on debut and the longer trip is in her favour; she will be interesting if there is any sustained support in the betting, but ultimately along with the newcomer Delaware Dancer, who is tongue-tied for her debut, looks opposable.
