ROYAL CONNOISSEUR has slipped down the weights and has shown the benefit of late with a couple of placed efforts. Beaten less than a length on both those occasions, he gets the nod dropping down a grade. Mayfield Girl is another sliding down the handicap but her last win was in 2013 and Burtonwood looks a bigger threat raised only 2lb for his recent win at Ripon. Reginald Claude looks high enough in the weights but Bush Beauty won a claimer here in July and this is not much tougher.
