River Goddess finished four lengths behind the latter but was having her first start since August and is expected to provide more of a challenge today. La Napoule had shown plenty of promise over 6f before disappointing over today's trip at Kempton and she may bounce back with a better effort, though it's TRUST THE WIND that gets a speculative vote. She was unfancied for her debut in a much more competitive maiden at Lingfield in October but John Gosden's filly is likely to have improved during the interim.
