In depth

Verdict

Trenchard showed little improvement when beaten five lengths at Newcastle and drops back to 7f along with Teodoro, who hasn’t raced since November. ATTEQ has been handicapping without success but should find life easier back in this company and Richard Fahey’s charge is taken to finally open his account. Giant's Treasure cost 525,000gns as a yearling and the Derby entry is a newcomer worth a second glance in the betting for the Hannon yard.
