      Verdict

Quite a decent staying handicap with Rolex Free just getting in here off 85. A dual-winner in Argentina, he takes a big step up in trip here and if he stays, he should go well. Look First comes here in top form having run away with an Amateur riders event earlier this month, but raised 10lbs for that victory, he will have to turn in a career best if he is to win off this mark. Bobby Kennard is a progressive stayer and had the opposition strung out like washing when winning at Southwell. However, that event was slowly run and he has more on his plate in this. Ulshaw stays forever and reserves his best for here, but he is a long way out of the handicap and has plenty to do at this level. A chance is taken with Kristensen, who tackles this trip for the first time. He was impressive when beating subsequent winner Sudden Flight here back in November and hasn't been disgraced off a higher mark since. He will find this easier than when chasing home the likes of Compton Commander last time and could have too much pace for his rivals over this trip.
