In depth

Verdict

Meadow Mischief gets the call here ahead of Plemont Bay and Ransom Trip. The Ed Dunlop-trained selection ran well on her second, and most recent, start when fourth at Newmarket in September. In what is a run-of-the-mill race, that form looks more than good enough to make her competitive today. Plemont Bay also showed enough on her Lingfield debut to be rated a major player, while Ransom Trip attracted money on her debut and Mark Johnston's runner surely has better to come. Finally, Miss Inch showed promise on her Newbury debut and then disappointed over course and distance. Her second try here, on her latest outing, saw her fall upon leaving the stalls so it remaIns to be seen how that has affected her, and Silverline Sky has something to like on breeding; however, our vote stays with Meadow Mischief.
