        Verdict

        PLEAD is fancied to deny top weight and should appreciate the drop in class. His yard has a tremendous record at this venue so looks one to keep on the right side. African runs for the first time on Tapeta and might prove a danger. He seems to have done well for his change of stable and is certainly respected, along with recent Beverley winner Mont Royal . Scala Regia is another with claims in an open contest, along with previous course winner Ice Dancing .
