    In depth

    Verdict

Rebel Raider may be able to get the better of Buscador and Mid Valley. The complexion of this race could change as Buscador was due to race here on Friday night but it may be worth siding with Rebel Raider nonetheless. Ben Pollock's charge has been plying his trade over obstacles lately but has run well enough here in the past to be selected. Weet For Ever isn't ruled out despite being a longstanding maiden but Mid Valley could be a bigger threat if bringing his A game to the races this evening. Mariaverdi has shown the odd glimmer of ability but doesn't convince whilst Kirkhammerton is probably best watched on debut for a new yard unless the market suggests to the contrary. Rebel Raider is the suggestion.
