Verdict

Hard to be confident about any of these but MISTER MACKENZIE is getting closer to that elusive first win. He went close in a C&D maiden earlier this month and a repeat may be good enough to go one better in this company. Juarla returns from a short break having landed a double on the Turf in August while Dark Lane finished third over track and trip last month though he has a wide draw to contend with. Silkee Supreme has a couple of lengths to find with the selection on earlier running and Powerful Pierre scored off today's mark here early in the year.
