Verdict

Ewell Place was sent off favourite in a claimer at Lingfield on Saturday but ran a shocker and it's difficult to know what to expect from him. Tarooq was also strongly fancied on his latest start in June but went wrong during the race and was pulled-up. He can figure if fully recovered but CORPORAL MADDOX looks a safer option. Third at Southwell last week, he'll be more at home back on the Polytrack and can come out best. Light From Mars is in decent form but has a bit to find at the weights though he's still preferred to 6f winner Chiswick Bey.
