In depth

Formwatch

Palacegate Touch Pick of the weights here and still retains enthusiasm at the grand age of 11. His last two wins have been at this track and every chance of landing career win number 30 in this weak affair.

Cynosure Not shown much promise in two starts so far and hard to fancy.

Pippas Pride (IRE) Has a very poor record at this track and saves his best for Southwell. Not in the best of form anyway.

Principal Boy (IRE) Remote third in a weak race at Southwell last time, drops back in trip and faces impossible task at the weights.

Royal Cascade (IRE) In reasonable form at present and has won five times at Wolverhampton. Tends to do best work in the closing stages and not without a chance here.

Society King (IRE) Two reasonable efforts this month, but has it all to do at these weights. Drops back in trip today, though, which could suit him.

Top of The Parkes Reasonable chance on official ratings but her all-weather form has been very poor this winter.
