Solarmaite and Horseguardsparade tend to save their best for Southwell but Star Ascending scored over track and trip in February, though is 7lb higher. Comanche Chieftain recorded his only win so far at this venue but remains 5lb higher while Yasir won a seller here last month and has been beaten since. Lions Charge is usually thereabouts at this level without being good enough off his current mark but SHINING ROMEO is worth another chance attempting this longer trip for the first time having won over 1m2f at Leicester on his penultimate start – he is only 2lb higher for this.
