    In depth

    Verdict

Bentley should appreciate this return to six furlongs and is given the tentative vote ahead of Totally Free, Show Trial and Inkjet. The last named just got up to win nine days ago over five furlongs and looks sure to appreciate this slight step up in trip today. However, that race was a weak seller and she will need to improve significantly if she is to take this handicap. Aggbag is a course and distance winner so warrants respect, although he has been beaten fair and square recently so is perhaps on a stiff enough mark. Show Trial would have claims if repeating his penultimate run when runner-up to Charlotte Grey over course and distance so must be feared, as must Totally Free with the in-form Hayley Turner aboard although his mark of 58 looks high enough. Bentley was staying on at the death ten days ago so must have major claims today in a similar race, and looks capable off this mark of 52. He is sure to get every assistance from jockey Dane O'Neill so he gets our tentative vote.
