Verdict

Several of these are probably capable of a bit better than they've shown so far but blinkers would have to bring about massive improvement in Plumbago Blue after a shocking effort on heavy ground at Yarmouth. Bevis Marks also has a bit to prove but last month's C&D fourth PARQUE ATLANTICO represents a stable in terrific form and shouldn't be far away again. He appears to have the beating of Melodrama on the form book. Lean On Pete and Song Of Joy were both placed last time and Desert Red and Scripturist are unexposed at this level but Fu Fic Fas looks harshly treated on his third in a Beverley seller.
