In depth

Verdict

Wanna Shout looks the one to beat, with the likes of Latif, Indian Edge and Miss Glory Be others to note. Wanna Shout has won twice here in the past and looks set to take that total to three judged on her latest effort at Lingfield in December. Robin Dickin's mare was the only one to give the in-form Danettie a race that day, and with Tony Culhane riding at his best of late, she should take all the beating. Latif is rated much, much lower on the all-weather than on Turf, and he should be suited by the step back up in trip after chasing home Smirfy's Night over seven furlongs here last time. Indian Edge is still a maiden, but has been placed on the odd occasion, and if allowed to lead, may just hang on for a place, while of the rest, Miss Glory Be makes some appeal on her best form in the past for Gay Kelleway. She was actually a place behind Young Kate at Southwell in January but was squeezed for room and is capable of reversing those placings at least. For the winner we return to Wanna Shout.
