        Verdict

        Tha'ir is at his best here though is penalised for last week’s victory over a longer trip. Sea Shack continues to frustrate having placed yet again when beaten only a neck here last time while Mans Not Trot is another regularly in the mix and has switched yards since finishing third at Chelmsford. Captain Peaky posted a better effort at the later track on his debut for new connections but has yet to win in 24 starts and ADVENTUREMAN (NAP) is preferred. A course and distance winner last summer, he gave notice of a big run today when runner-up over 7f recently and Ruth Carr’s charge gets the vote now back on a winning mark.
