      Verdict

Heaven is a sporting selection in the penultimate race with Seductive Witch and Richardthesecond providing the major opposition. Peter Makin's charge has taken a few runs to come to herself but she indicated herself as very much on the upgrade at Bath on her last two starts and if she can adapt to the surface, she has a fair draw to exploit today. Seductive Witch won a couple of handicaps here in the earlier part of the year. She might just be a little better over the fice at Lingfield. Richardthesecond is still a maiden although this small matter looks sure to be overcome sooner rather than later. Towy Boy has shown better form over six than five while Cheshire Rose is here after a narrow defeat at Goodwood. Given the form of David Barron's stable at the moment, any market move should not be ignored. Jalons Bridewell shaped with a modicum of promise at the beginning of the year so it will be interesting to see what view the bookies take after two runs to get back to matchfitness. Mystickhill bombed out badly in a seller and more is needed on this occasion. A lot of imponderables to consider among the market leaders and we take our chances with Heaven.
