Navarra Princess usually runs her race and finished in front of Social Butterfly when third at Chelmsford. But a couple of these are looking to exploit a slide down the handicap including Popsicle, a runner-up on the Turf course at Lingfield recently having started the season on a 9lb higher mark, and PASSING STAR. The latter was winning off a 15lb higher mark last year and, having posted a better effort here last time, Daniel Kubler’s charge may prove good enough in the opener.
