Verdict

John Potts won an amateurs' race here earlier in the month but was earlier no match for REGGIE BOND over track and trip. Geoff Oldroyd's charge clearly likes it here and, with Robert Tart again taking off 3lb, should double his tally. The maiden Polar Forest is inconsistent but would have each-way claims on his best form. Stanlow and Do More Business are closely matched on recent running and should be prominent again while Angel Cake is back on a winning mark and likely to see out this trip better than stablemate Hot Sugar.
