In depth

Verdict

Linning Wine as a habit of letting his supporters down, but is given one more chance to prevail, El Chaparral and The Gaikwar look the main rivals. Paul Blockley's gelding has been a beaten favourite in tow races already this month, but could have come up against revitalized performers. He was third to Nimello and Rare Coincidence, before finding Buscador too good last time. On official ratings he is head and shoulders above today's rivals and should end this frustrating losing sequence. El Chaparral should find it hard to give the selection six pounds but did win nicely her last time, he should be capable of getting into the places. Meanwhile The Gaikwar has a bit to find with the selection on recent running, but would go close if back to his best. Raheel is from a a very good yard and should be watched for any market moves, but Linning Wine is the class act here and should oblige.
