    Verdict

Verismo should be noted for any strong support on his return to action having made the frame over a shorter trip at Newmarket back in October. But CAPATOSTA should have the edge on fitness having his third start of the month after going close over 1m2f at Chelmsford last week. Any further progress should also see David O'Meara's colt get the better of Grey's Angel, placed in all four outings now including a second over track and trip last time. The remainder are harder to fancy unless winning hurdler Smart Motive proves above average on his debut on the Flat.
