Verdict

STORMY NIGHT (NAP) never looked like catching the winner when runner-up over 2m at Chepstow but had won easily over course and distance before that. He gets another chance back at this venue while Aldrich Bay went close upped to today’s trip at Chelmsford and is another to consider. The Dancing Poet returns to the all-weather on the same mark as when scoring at Catterick last summer while Beat The Breeze is not out of this having struggled on the Turf last time.
