Verdict

Bath winner DRAWNFROMTHEPAST takes a drop in class and the presence of a 7lb claimer could give him the edge against the likes of Le Toreador. The latter will do well to take up his preferred prominent position drawn out wide and the returning Rebel Duke also has a high draw to contend with. Master Of Disguise was a decent handicapper but has been off the track for two years so C&D winner Deerslayer and recent Carlisle runner-up Tombi make more appeal.
