Phyllis Maud just held on to win at Musselburgh and is upped in class as she bids for a hat-trick. Joseph Jefferson drops back down a couple of grades having been tailed off at York while Topaling remains 9lb higher than when landing a hat-trick of course and distance wins early this year. Lingfield winner Cottesloe attempts a longer trip but Wordiness drops back down in distance having rattled-up a treble over 2m during the summer. SOUL SEARCHER failed to make all at Salisbury last time but had won by four lengths over 1m4f here before that and looks worth a try over today's extra distance.
