In depth

Verdict

MICHELE STROGOFF (NAP) has been competing in Class 2 company since scoring by over two lengths over course and distance last month. Mick Appleby’s charge can return to winning ways in this lesser company only 3lb higher. Mr Top Hat rarely wins but ran well for third in this grade at Lingfield recently and looks the main danger to the selection, though Key Player should be sharper for a recent reappearance. Juanito Chico is raised in class today while Swiss Storm and Corinthian return from lay-offs with the latter last in action in 2016.
