Verdict

A handicap wraps up proceedings here and our selection is SOCCERJACKPOT who looks best in a poor race. Tartan Gigha and Leonaldo head the dangers. The five-year-old was a winner at Kempton last time out after four months off the track and looks capable of following up. The gelding showed himself significantly better than his mark of 82 there and can cope with a six pounds hike in the ratings. Tartan Gigha was also a winner last time out after a five month spell on the sidelines. The gelding is relatively lightly raced and there might be a bit more to come this year. Leonaldo finished behind Tartan Gigha last time out and looked like a stronger pace would probably have suited better, if all falls into place for the colt then he may figure here.
