In depth

Verdict

VENTUROUS SPIRIT kept on for third behind Si Senor at Kempton three weeks ago and the winner has since gone in again. John Gosden's filly may come out best in this but Flawless Pink also has leading claims on her recent second at Pontefract. Freemason has yet to look like winning and drops back in distance from 1m2f while Broughtons Secret has a chance on the best of last year's form but hasn't raced since October. Holiday Magic showed little on his first start while stablemate and newcomer New Year's Night cost 800,000gns. Santa Teresa is out of a prolific mare and is another debutante to note.
