The vote here goes to Sir Sandrovitch, with Cloann and Hiamovi others to be given mentions. Carrying a six-pounds penalty for his recent Southwell win, Henry Tun needs a career best run in order to land the spoils today. Sir Sandrovitch, though, is on a winning Turf mark and just a pound above his win in an amateur riders' event at Lingfield. He likes it here, though, and is respected. Blue Maeve's overall all-weather form sees others preferred, while Cloann is back to a winning Turf mark from the summer and was running on when around two lengths behind Sir Sandrovitch last time, for which she is now a pound better off. She holds claims. Both of Lady Hopeful's wins here have come in banded events, although a placing is not ruled out, and Town House's best recent run came over course and distance, so a good run is not ruled out either, neither is it from Hiamovi, who is now four pounds below a course-and-distance winning mark from last January. Finally, Leah's Pride could sneak a place and Strathclyde was an eyecatcher behind that horse last time, although it looked there as though a sixth furlong might help. We shall see, but for today, we will side with Sir Sandrovitch.
