Verdict

Upholland makes his all-weather debut after four modest efforts on the Turf last year. He may have improved since last seen finishing fifth at Doncaster but Warbrook is going the wrong way and never figured over a mile at Lingfield last time. Cosquillas and Parkhill Star may finish closer today, but none of those with experience look any great shakes and a chance is taken on a newcomer. Aboody and Shades Of Silk are worth a second glance, but FITZGERALD is a half-brother to three winners on the all-weather and it's Marco Botti's colt that gets the nod to make a winning start.
