Verdict

Sherpa Trail made a winning start when scoring over track and trip but both placed horses have been well beaten subsequently and he’s penalised for this. Badayel had placed over course distance on a couple of occasions before dropped back to the minimum trip last time. He finished just in front of BRENBAR here last month but the latter didn’t help his cause when taking a strong hold in the early stages and Roger Varian’s colt can reverse running if settling better. Snow Space makes a belated debut along with fellow four-year-old Go On My Cocker with the latter preferred to stablemate Its All Clover Now.
