      Verdict

Lionrock is steadily improving and turned in his best effort so far when third at Lingfield last time. He'll appreciate the longer trip and should have the beating of Ruacana, but one of the newcomers might be good enough to land this. Ruby Glass is worth noting along with Ogaritmo, whose dam is a half-sister to the very smart Quito among others, but a chance is taken on BENBECULA. He cost 48,000gns and the half-brother to no less than 10 winners is taken to score at the first time of asking.
