    Verdict

Ramblow bids for a hat-trick having won at Lingfield last week and he defeated BEATBYBEATBYBEAT less than a length at this venue before that. But the latter re-opposes on much more favourable terms today and is expected to turn the tables. Hawatif looks no nearer winning despite sliding further down the weights while Fair Selene remains 6lb higher than last summer’s success at Chepstow. Zafaranah went close at Lingfield earlier but has been well beaten either side of that while Bataka has yet to threaten.
