In depth

Verdict

Al Qaasim, the only four-year-old in the line-up, has changed stables after a couple of decent runs on Turf last summer. David O'Meara should find a race for him and the three-year-olds don't look up to much. Torrkee was well beaten into third at Chelmsford in November but G'DAAY caught the eye at Lingfield early in the month and could be the one to beat. Billy Mill didn't build on a promising debut at Newbury but Mick Channon's newcomer Danny Bleu is out of a mare who has had eight foals and six of them have won so it would be no surprise to see him continuing the family tradition.
